Welcome to my website and I am pleased to introduce myself. I am Stephanie Sutton, The Timely VA and I operate in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. I was raised on a prairie farm and ranch. Today I still proudly wear some of the important values I was brought up with including hard work, honesty and treating people with respect. I love life and I have a sense of humour about it and myself. I am high energy, enthusiastic and strive to find the special 'gifts and learning' within every situation. I am the epitome of a 'people person' and revel in the magic that can be created by working with others. Deep down I have always had a passion to help others and virtual assistance provides me with the opportunity to do this each and every day.
After training and ten years working with in the media in writing, marketing and desktop publishing, I headed downtown Calgary to work as an executive assistant. During the next eleven years I refined my administrative skills while keeping up with technical and internet training. If you look up 'life-long learner' in the dictionary, you may even see my picture. After completing my Business Certificates in Management from the University of Calgary, I
embarked upon my journey to find my 'ultimate career'. A career where:
- I could choose who I wanted to work within a committed role using my expanding talents and expertise.
- I would have the opportunity to satisfy my ongoing thirst for knowledge with the latest in technology training.
- I could fill my days with the excitement of new and challenging tasks.
- I would be appreciated, valued and work as an equal in the administrative field.
- Most importantly, I would find a path where I can help others grow their business, have more and do more!
Enter the picture AssistU (www.assistu.com) and my introduction to Virtual Assistance. The perfect place for an administrative professional with an entrepreneurial spirit! Formalizing the profession, AssistU is the first professional member association for virtual assistants. Less than half who apply to the intense program at AssistU are accepted. After completing almost 200 hours of training, independent study, and practical client experiences, I was ready to set up shop. AssistU's ongoing education, community and support continue to be an important part of who I am and the value I present today.

I am a fast learner and provide timely accurate results. I may not know it all, but I know where to find it! I strive to offer my clients additional value each and every day and absolutely love my work. It is a passion and it shows!

There are many great VAs in world that are fabulous at many tasks with each and everyone being an unique individual. That being said, what makes me unique? The truth of the matter is that I have senior administration, business and project management skills. I have a wealth of training and experience in various situations,
disciplines and industries. There is an important role for junior VAs and the value they provide, but that simply is not the same
role for me. I am accomplished and excited about advanced and technical challenges. I firmly believe that administration is problem solving, whether the problem be large or small.
